Under 16, Marriage is prohibited in this state except by court order.
Divorce:
Persons divorced in Oklahoma may not marry anyone other than their previous spouse for a period of six months after the divorce decree is filed.
Blood Test:
Oklahoma law does not require a premarital blood test.
Residency:
No residency requirements.
Fees:
$50.00 or $5.00 with proof of marriage counseling

The premarital counseling program must be conducted by a health professional or an official representative of a religious institution whose misters' credentials are filed of record with a court clerk's office. Health professional means a person approved by the state to practice psychiatry or psychology; a licensed social worker with experience in marriage counseling; a licensed marital and family therapist; or a licensed professional counselor. Time Limit:Waiting Period:
No waiting period required for those over the age of 18. If under the age of 18, there is a 72 hour waiting period.
Note: The State of Oklahoma, unlike some states, does not have Justice of the Peace.
Once you are married, the marriage license shall be returned to the court clerk within 30 days from the date of its issuance; to be recorded. Any license not returned and recorded will be an incomplete record and copies of the "Certificate of Marriage" will not be available for certification for later use. YOU MUST RETURN THE LICENSE FOR RECORDING!
Per Statue
The Court Clerks Office no longer requires officiant to record/file their credentials per stature.
