North Carolina, Raleigh- The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) announced today that it has updated the site ePASS to be compatible with mobile devices that include a Spanish option.
The modification to the online application portal for Medicaid and Food and Nutrition Services (known as FNS) provides access to program information in Spanish, as well as the ability to complete the application process in Spanish online . Previously it was only possible through a paper form.
"Removing language barriers helps meet the needs of a broader population while continuing to support the practice of social distancing measures," said NCDHHS Deputy Secretary Dave Richard. "The entire application process can be done from the safety and comfort of home."
